Edward Ganshirt

Edward Lawrence Ganshirt of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away January 22, 2022, in Lakeview, Arkansas at the age of 80. He was born March 17, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Edward and Althea Pauwels Ganshirt. He married Sandra Kassner on September 22, 1962, in River Grove, Illinois and worked as a Logistics Manager for Sears. Edward was a U.S. Army Veteran. He lived in Lakeview since moving from Orland Park, IL, in 2006. He enjoyed smoking cigars, football, fishing, horse races, yelling, and visiting the casinos not necessarily in this order.

Edward is survived by his sons, Scott Ganshirt of Turkey Creek, LA, and Sean Ganshirt of Cypress, TX and grandson, Joshua Ganshirt of Turkey Creek, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sandra M. Ganshirt.

Services will be private.
