Donna M Wilkes of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away February 10, 2022, in Flippin, Arkansas at the age of 79. She was born December 2, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Edmond and Margaret Tepper Loome. She married Don Wilkes on July 25, 1959, in Elmhurst, IL. Donna built and operated Shady Oaks Resort for 11 years before building and running the Cedar Hollow RV Park. Donna lived in Flippin since moving from Elmhurst, Il in 1977. She was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Yellville, AR. She loved time with her grandchildren, family gatherings and playing cards. Donna is survived by her husband, Don Wilkes of Flippin, AR; daughter, Debbie (Chuck) Myers of Bull Shoals, AR; son, Danny Wilkes of Bull Shoals, AR; grandchildren, Brent (Jessica) Mitchell of Bull Shoals, AR, Lacey Williams of Joplin, MO; Brandy Sawa of IL, Kristen (Zeb) Gilley of Yellville, AR, Dacia (Giancarlo) Vigna of Branson, MO and Kail (Juliette) Wilkes of TN; 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way; 5 sisters and 2 brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Doreen Marie Brown; son, David Wilkes and sister, Loretta Molve. A Funeral Service for Donna will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals, AR with visitation from 12PM until time of service . Burial will be in the Flippin Cemetery, Flippin, AR. Due to current restrictions, masks are required. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Bull Shoals, Arkansas.
