A Funeral Service for Dean Lewis Muehler of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, April 16, 2018, at Mountain Home Baptist Church, with Pastor Justin Knight and Pastor Brian Bowerman officiating.
Dean passed away April 13, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 74. He was born October 27, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Max and Vernette Schmidt Muehler. He married Marilyn Eck on July 10, 1976, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and worked as a self employed Computer Software Specialist. Dean was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Dean lived in Mountain Home since 1973, moving from Itasca, Illinois. He was a member of the Mountain Home Baptist Church, Rotary and Gideon's International. He enjoyed travel and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Dean is survived by his wife, Marilyn Muehler of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Vanessa L. (Brandon) Blanchard of Leawood, KS; sister, Phyllis Holmes of Mountain Home, AR; grandchildren, Savannah and Luke Blanchard of Leawood, Kansas; nieces and nephews, Rob (Cindy) Holmes of Atlanta, GA, Rik (Valerie) Holmes of St. Louis, MO and Linda (Paul) Sperbeck of Indianapolis, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Buddy Johnson, Steve Johnson, Bob Admundson, Rik Holmes, Rob Holmes, Brandon Blanchard, Ray Bauer and Tom Williams, as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Gareth Eck and Steven Eck. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and United States Navy Honor Guards.
