Clara Marie Laska

Clara Marie Laska of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away May 27, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 98. She was born April 11, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of James and Mary Most Barton. She married George Laska on February 5, 1955, in Chicago, IL and worked as a Payroll Supervisor for Amphenol Corporation. Clara lived in Mountain Home since moving from Bellwood, IL, in 1993. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Czech Club of the Ozarks, several bridge clubs and was a longtime volunteer at Baxter Regional Medical Center.

Clara is survived by her sister, Vera Wilken, of Tinley Park, IL; nephews, Mark (Leigh) Wilken, of Tulsa, OK and Robert (Diane) Fisher, of Fountain Hills, AZ and her niece, Sandy (Jim) Aggen, of Orland Park, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and brother, Harold Barton.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm, at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Kevin McReynolds officiating. Burial will be in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.

Memorials may be made to The Humane Society of North Central Arkansas, Hospice of the Ozarks or Redeemer Lutheran Church.
