Carol Joyce Anderson passed away December 28, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, after a long illness, at the age of 77. She was born March 14, 1940, in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Estle and Lois Borough Oskins. She married Lane Anderson on March 12, 1960, in Rockford, Illinois. Carol shared her husband's love of fishing and the two found their true home when they moved to Mountain Home in 2002.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Steffane (Philip) Thompson of Machesney Park, IL; brother, Estle (Marilyn) Oskins of Rockford, IL; sisters, Sheryl (Dale) Albright of Medford, OR, and Georgia Hogue of Carson City, NV; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Estle and Lois; husband, Lane; beloved twin brother Carl Oskins; and sons, Christopher and Gregory.
We wish to give special thanks to Hospice of the Ozarks, the Area Agency on Aging, and Good Samaritan Nursing Home for providing care during the last months of her illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
