Bruce Gosnell

Bruce Gosnell passed away September 28, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born May 22, 1934, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Esther Feiersen Gosnell. He graduate from McKinley High School and Iowa State University. He married Barbara Pease on August 7, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and retired as a Major from the United States Air Force. Bruce lived in Mountain Home since moving from Rapid City, South Dakota, in 1982. He was a member of the local fishing club and he was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Bruce is survived by his two sons, Gary Gosnell of Mountain Home, AR and Ronald (Belinda) Gosnell of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Nancy (Michael) Paris of Whitewood, SD; son-in-law, Chris Apa of Rapid City, SD; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Sharon Apa; and great-granddaughter, Andie Jane Apa.
Burial will be in the Cedar Memorial Gardens, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Make a Wish Foundation.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
