Betty Louise Buell

Betty Louise Buell of Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away March 14, 2022, in her home, at the age of 93. She was born October 13, 1928, in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Bernard and Mary Ramsey Michael. She married Estil Buell on December 12, 1946, in Muscatine, Iowa. Their family lived many years in Illinois, first in Moline, later in Arlington Heights, Chatsworth and Springfield. Betty and her husband moved to Mountain Home in 1978. Sometime after the passing of her husband, Betty moved to Woodstock, Georgia, where she regularly attended Mount Paran Church of God with her family. In 2021 she moved to Bonita Springs, Florida. She enjoyed music, painting, creating custom jewelry, reading her Bible, and especially loved spending time with her family who will miss her dearly.

Betty is survived by her two sons, Leslie (Dot) Buell of Marietta, GA and Michael (Susie) Buell of Boerne, TX; two daughters, Sheila (Tim) Wright of Woodstock, GA and Pamela (Tom) Houghton of Naples, FL; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Bernard Michael; two sisters, Margaret Tietz, Ellouise Gardner; and granddaughter, Amy Houghton.

Graveside Services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. The graveside service will be live-streamed and recorded, link to follow.
