Bettie Leach

Bettie Marie Leach passed away May 19, 2019, in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 86. She was born January 10, 1933, in Seagoville, Texas, the daughter of Dan and Rodie Bennett Surratt. She married Nolan Leach on August 13, in Durant, OK and worked in manufacturing, along with being an entrepreneur in cottage industry crafts. Bettie lived in Oxford since moving from Midway, AR, in 2011. She was a member of the Alley-White American Legion Post #52. She knew no strangers, only friends she hadn't met. She was an expert fly fisherwoman. She loved crafts, garage sales, gardening, crocheting, fly tying with her best buddy, Richard Ramsey; And spending time with friends and family, especially her grandkids.

Bettie is survived by her children; Cynthia Fowler, John Leach, Richard Leach, Olen Leach, and Sherry Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Jennifer Leach.

A Memorial Service will be held at Big Spring Park, Cotter, AR at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 25, 2019. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
