Arlene Edna Dixon

June 24, 1930 - April 1, 2021

Arlene Edna Dixon of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away April 1, 2021, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 90. She was born June 24, 1930, in Danbury, Connecticut, the daughter of Joseph and Myrtle Montgomery Hill. She married Theron Dixon on August 7, 1949, in Brewster, New York and was an administrative assistant for Intel Corporation. Arlene lived in Mountain Home since moving from Fremont, California, in 1993. She was a very active member of the Christian Church of Mountain Home. She enjoyed volunteering at Baxter Regional Medical Center and the Pregnancy Resource Center. She loved to garden, knit, read, and bake. Arlene is survived by two daughters, Deborah Dixon of San Jose, CA, and Beth (David Braun) Dixon of Fort Collins, CO; her son, Scott (Denise) Dixon of Everett, WA; five grandchildren, Garrett (Tasia) Clark, Kyle Ellenberger, Megan Pelletier, Amy (Travis) Zack, and Steven (Angela) Carver; ten great-grandchildren, Shane, Brynn, and Jack Clark, Tyler, Coraline, Harley and Tessa Zack; Haley Carver; Colton and Alivia Pelletier; three brothers, Joseph Hill, John Hill, and Terrance Hill; and sister, Janice McNamara. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Patricia Evan; infant twin daughters, Kathleen and Lisa; infant grandson, Brian Dixon; seven brothers, Louis Hill, George Hill, Donald Hill, Harold Hill, Robert Hill, Charles Hill, Philip Hill; and five sisters, Jacqueline Miller, Jeanne Bonner, Julia Holick, Myrtle (Sissy) Rahmsdorff, Carol Ann Schirmer. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, June 5, 2021, at the Christian Church of Mountain Home. Scattering of her remains will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Due to current restrictions, masks are required. Memorials may be made to Christian Church of Mountain Home. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Mountain Home, Arkansas.
