Sharon Johnson died Thursday, November 6, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 17 days. She was born Saturday, June 19, 1937 in Pierre, South Dakota, daughter of Louis Frenier and Edith Dalrymple. She married Lanny Johnson on January 13, 1995 at Placerville, California. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years. Sharon lived in Lakeview for 32 years moving from Sunnyvale, California. She was a tremendous cook, loved the lake for boating and swimming, enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, and was known to her friends as "Cheetah". She was a very giving person, enjoyed researching her Souix heritage, and her grandchildren were a special joy to her. Survivors: Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Lanny Johnson; daughter, Sabrina (Richard) Thomas of Coquille, OR; sons: Dennis Moon of Buford, GA, Tony (Chrissy) Chambers of Rogers, AR, Mike (Sandy) Sandoval of Mountain Home, AR, and Mark (Rena) Sandoval of Rogers, AR; stepson, Bill (Betsy) Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; stepdaughter, Shirley (Mark) Rule of Butte, MT; stepdaughters: Vicky (Tim) Healea of Cameron Park, CA,and Carol (Mike) McGinity of Placerville, CA; sister, Verna Frenier of Vancouver, WA; 23 Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents; sons: Daniel Claude Chambers, Frank George Sandoval III, Kenneth Frank Sandoval; and an infant brother. Visitation: Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Monday, November 10 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Graveside Services for Sharon Lou Johnson of Lakeview, AR, will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Deacon Dennis Moon officiating. Burial: Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the AIDS Foundation.
