Doris Arnold

Graveside Funeral Services for Doris R. Arnold will be 2:00 Sunday, December 31, 2006, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Fred Hagemier officiating. Doris Arnold died Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was 81. Doris R. Arnold was born October 23, 1925, at Fremont, Nebraska, to Robert A. and Nona Mae Hassen Wilmer. She married Theodore "Ted" Arnold on May 7, 1955, at Denison, Iowa. They moved to Mountain Home in 1977 from Fremont, Nebraska. Doris was a teller with First National Bank in Mountain Home and Lakeview. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Bull Shoals; American Legion Auxiliary in Arlington, Nebraska; past president of the Lakeview B.P. & W. and Past President of the F.O. Eagles Auxiliary lodge #200 in Fremont, Nebraska; and the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Doris is survived by two sisters, Glorian Wickham and Lois Buchardt, both of Fremont, Nebraska; several nieces and nephews including Denise (Mike) Corbin of Mountain Home; and an aunt, Chick Wilmer of Mountain Home. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Memorials may be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church.
