Rubmelia passed away May 20, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 93. She was born November 22, 1918, in Curanilahue, Chili, the daughter of Miguel Sobarzo-Concha and Eva Bastidas-Segal. Mrs. Sobarzo-Bastidas had lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since moving from Alpha, New Jersey in 2009. She worked as a maid for a Pipeline Company in Alaska.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Ruth Angulo, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Miriam (Tom) Emerick of Jordan, Arkansas, Teresa (Lee) Redd of Alpha, New Jersey; 1 son; Jose' (Dolly) Parada of Colorado Springs, Colorado; son-in-law, Luis Angulo of Brossard, Canada; 1 sister, Hilda Sobarzo and 1 brother, Juan Sobarzo both of Chili.
