Memorial services for Janette S. Petersen of Mountain Home, Arkansas will be 1:30 P.M. Friday, February 19, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Janette Petersen died in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 98.

Janette Petersen was born in Oakland, CA, daughter of George H. Short and Mary L. Miller. She married Sidney L. Petersen on September 5, 1931 at Reno, Nevada . She worked as a Accountant for State of California Highway Dept. Janette was a member of and Past president of Mountain Home B & PW, Member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Janette Petersen is survived by daughter, Lulu Mae Anderson, daughter, Lois Ann Borlandelli, grandson, John Anderson, grandson, Don Anderson, grandson, Ronald Hickenbottom, grandson, Dan Borlandelli, granddaughter, Mary Jo Borlandelli, granddaughter, Carla Brewer, 13 great grandchildren including Paul Bayless, 14 great great grandchildren including Brooke and Tate Bayless, 1 nephew.

She was preceded in death by father, George H. Short, mother, Mary L. Miller.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children Hospitals.
