Thomas Larry Leonard

A Memorial Service for Thomas Larry Leonard of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 1:00 P.M. Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Promise Land Community Center.
Thomas passed away July 16, 2016, in Bloomfield, Missouri at the age of 68. He was born January 5, 1948, in Sac, Iowa, the son of David Oren and Neva Elizabeth Draper Leonard. He graduated from Mountain Home High School and held the record for the longest field goal for nearly 50 years. He married ElDonna Workman on November 9, 1987, at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and was a retired United States Army veteran of Vietnam. He was a three time Purple Heart recipient.
Thomas is survived by his son, Robert Leonard; two stepsons, D.J. Finch of Mountain Home, AR and Dennis G. (Cindy) Finch of Floral City, FL and four grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew, Zachary and Nathaniel Finch.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife and son, Ray.
