A Funeral Service for Simon Lee Dabney, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Mountain Home, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, with Pastor John Easterling officiating.
Simon passed away March 21, 2018, in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 51. He was born August 12, 1966, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Simon, Sr. and Bobbye Droemer Dabney. He graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1984 and was National Merit Simi-finalist. He attended Governor's School and completed his pre-med at Texas Christian University. He received his Business Degree at Indiana University. He was a stock holder and parts manager at Dabney Equipment Company in Indianapolis. He was artsy, played the saxophone, enjoyed reading, cooking and loved spending time with is family.
Simon is survived by his father, Simon Lee Dabney, Sr. of Oakland, AR; sister, Theresa Marie Hobbs of Oakland, AR; nephew, Tristan Hobbs of Oakland, AR and a host of extended family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbye Dabney and step-mother, Linda Dabney.
Burial will be in the Baxter Memorial Gardens, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Food Bank of North Central Arkansas Back Pack Program.
