A Graveside Service for Shirley J. Cooper Brough of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Saturday, September 13, 2014, at Mountain Home Cemetery, with Dr. Terry Moser officiating.
Shirley passed away September 6, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 74. She was born February 9, 1940, in Rushville, Illinois, the daughter of Howard and Thelma Settles Cooper. Shirley lived in Mountain Home since 1977, moving from Rockford, Illinois. She was of the Methodist faith. Shirley was kind spirited gentle and loving, especially to her nephew Brett Cooper, aka "The Kid".
Shirley is survived by her brother, James Paul Cooper of Rockford, IL; sister-in-law, Bonnie Jean Cooper of Mountain Home, AR; nephew, Brett (Paula) Cooper of Mountain Home, AR, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, significant other of 35 years; Carl Foster, one brother, Bob Cooper; one sister, Howardeane Leather.
Memorial donations may be made to Parkinson's Association.
