A Funeral Mass for Robert "Bob" Frank Wajda, Sr. of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Friday, December 15, 2017, at St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church, with Reverend Father Stan Swiderski as Celebrant.
Bob passed away December 11, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 80. He was born May 25, 1937, in East Chicago, Indiana, the son of Frank and Rose Menzyk Wajda. He married Mary Ann Mayer on September 24, 1960, in East Chicago, Indiana and was the owner and Company Financial Officer for TriFab in Hammond, Indiana. Bob was a U.S. Coast Guard Reservist. He lived in Mountain Home since 2000, moving from Highland, Indiana. He was a member of St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church and a past usher. Bob was a member of Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and part of the Honor Guard and past Faithful Navigator of the Knights of Columbus #7353.
Bob is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Wajda of Mountain Home, AR; son, Robert Frank Wajda, Jr. of Mountain Home, AR; brother-in-law, Joseph Mayer of Mountain Home, AR and sister-in-law, Barbara Kessler of Vero Beach, FL.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Theresa and his parents.
Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas, at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Alley-White American Legion Auxiliary Unit #52 for Girls State.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
