Robert "Bob" John Cranston passed away May 22, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 79. He was born March 26, 1937, in Evanston, Illinois, the son of Robert and Gertrude Kuhl Cranston. He was a professional tanner in the leather industry. He married Harlene Stark on Valentines Day in 2001.
Robert loved the Lord first, then his family, the outdoors and fishing.
Robert is survived locally by his wife, Harlene Cranston and son, Arthur "Patrick" Cranston of Lakeview, AR as well as his second son by choice, Gene Griswold of Flippin, AR; two daughters, Virginia (James Gue) Cranston and Nola Twining; son, John Cranston, sister, Corrine Medendorp Bakker; all of Michigan; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and many neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Anna "Dixie" and sister, Renee.
Services will be private.
