A Celebration of Life for Robert John Anderson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:30 am, Thursday, October 1, 2015, at The Church at Mountain Home, with Pastor Eric Sparks officiating.
Bob passed away September 28, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. He was born August 12, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of William and Pauline Bonfiglio Anderson. He married Lena Pagliuco on November 12, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois. Bob was a truck driver, a bus driver and a police officer in the Bridgeview Police Department in Illinois. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Bob lived in Mountain Home since 1979, moving from Bridgeview, Illinois. He owned and operated Bob's Restaurant in Mountain Home.
Robert is survived by his wife, Lena Anderson of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Patricia Lane of Flippin, AR; son, Joseph Anderson of Burbank, IL; brother, William Anderson of Tucson, AZ; 6 grandchildren, Tiffany, Toni, TJ, Dawn, Michael, and Cotie; and three great-grandchildren, Scott, Prestyn, and Kierstyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Military Honors will be provided by the Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 Honor Guard.
Memorials may be made to The Church at Mountain Home.
