Mary passed away December 23, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 85. She was born July 24, 1932, in Rochelle, Illinois, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Killmer Schade. She married Mark Tippitts on August 24, 1957, in Ashton, IL, and worked as a lower elementary school teacher for 30 years in Saugus, CA and then for six years in Mountain Home, AR after moving to the area in 1988. She enjoyed baking, kniting, crocheting and doing things for others.
Mary is survived by her husband, Mark Tippetts of Mountain Home, AR; two daughters, Feather Rosica of Tehachapi, CA, Jill Sanzone of Forsyth, MO and her grandson, David Sanzone, of Forsyth, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sophie Schade.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
