A Funeral Service for Mary Janet Green of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Friday, June 16, 2017, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Donette Boyett, Family Service Coordinator for Hospice of the Ozarks officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of service.
Janet passed away June 7, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 77. She was born September 16, 1939, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Evelyn Moreland Green. She worked as a clerk typist and lived in Mountain Home since 1974, moving from Collinsville, Illinois. She enjoyed cats and watching TV game shows.
Janet is survived by her cousins, John Moreland of Woodstock, GA, Bill Moreland and Sandi Strum of Salt Lake City, UT.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John R. Green.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Pets for the Homeless.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
