Lois Irene Novey Bunch

A Celebration of Life for Lois Irene Bunch of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 8, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Louis Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Somonauk, Illinois.
Lois passed away December 3, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 96. She was born February 25, 1920, in Richmond, Indiana, the daughter of George and Edith Brattain Bailey. She married John Charles Novey on April 22, 1944, at Paris, Texas, and they had three sons. John passed away in 1974. She married Ralph Bunch in 1992 in Texas. Lois lived in Mountain Home since moving from Texas in 2006. She attended Hopewell Baptist Church with Ralph. Ralph passed away in 2014. Lois was proud that she went parasailing at the age of 65 years. Lois enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing cards, and attending many social events within the different communities that she lived in. She never met a stranger and enjoyed visiting with people.
Lois is survived by her three sons, Dennis (Frances) Novey of Midway, AR, Charles (Karen) Novey of Homewood, IL, and Tom (Ann) Novey of Sheridan, IL; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a grandson, Kirk; three sisters, Maxine, Marjorie, and Martha Jean; and her brother, Roland.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
