A Memorial Service for Linda Kay Stansbery of Lakeview, Arkansas, will be 3:00 pm, Friday, June 22, 2018, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating.
Linda passed away June 19, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 76. She was born October 20, 1941, in Farmer City, Illinois, the daughter of Percy and Ethel Bates Welton. She married Richard Stansbery on July 24, 1960, in Ringgold, Georgia and was a homemaker. Linda lived in Lakeview since moving from Longwood, Florida, in 2009. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and enjoyed cooking, spending time on the computer and camping.
Linda is survived by her husband, Richard Stansbery of Lakeview, AR; son, Gregg (Angie) Stansbery of McDonough, GA; daughter, Kimberly (Tom) Gilchrist of Chuluoata, FL; three brothers, Larry Welton of Clinton, IL, Ron (Madalyn) Welton of Fort Myers, FL and Ken (Linda) Welton of Peoria, IL; two grandchildren, Mandy (James) Vaughn and Michael (Ryann) Huddleston and two great-grandchildren, Lily and Cooper Fitzpatrick.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
