James "Jim" Norman Smith

A Memorial Service for James (Jim) Norman Smith of Flippin, Arkansas will be 12PM Friday August 12, 2016 at the Unitarian Church of Mountain Home, Arkansas.
James passed away August 8, 2016, in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 72. He was born August 11, 1943, in San Diego, California, the son of Norman and Alma Stacy Smith. He spent his career in sales, mostly automobiles. James was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Twin Lakes Community Playhouse and the a volunteer at the Jim Gaston Visitor Center. He loved nature and being the center of attention. James loved a good healthy argument.
James is survived by his daughter, Stacy (Stephen Bridgeman) Ryan and grandson, Daulton James Ryan of Roanoke, TX; son, Sean (Suzanne) Smith of Sykesville, MD; life partner, Amy Stuart of Yellville, AR and her family; daughter, Rebecca Peterson and her children, Kyle Huff and Sarah and Mason Peterson of Yellville, AR and daughter, Emma (Dustin) Arvin and son, Blake of Trenton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to the family.
