A Celebration of Life for Helena Rosenberg of Bull Shoals, AR will be held at 11AM Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR.
Helena passed away at Hospice House of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, AR on December 24, 2017. She was 104 years old. Helena (Roush) Rosenberg was born July 1, 1913 in Hegewisch, IL to the late Joseph and Rose (Bushman) Roush. She married her loving husband, Raymond (Ray) Rosenberg on January 12, 1940 in Crown Point, IN. She later retired to Sarasota, FL in 1973 before moving to Arkansas in 2005. She spent her life working as a secretary and caring for her family and home. Helena was a avid walker and enjoyed cooking, listening to her countless digital books and gathering with friends.
She is survived by her grandson, Scott Rosenberg and wife Laura of Valparaiso, IN; granddaughters, Dana Hoffman and fiancé, Dan Rowan of Sleepy Hollow, IL and Susan Rosenberg and great granddaughter, Emmy Rodriguez of Griffith, IN; and her best friend, Ida Hill of Bull Shoals, AR along with many friends in the surrounding community.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Raymond (Ray) Rosenberg; son, Douglas (Al) Rosenberg; Carol Eberhardt (mother to Scott Rosenberg) and daughter-in-law, Diane Rosenberg (mother to Dana and Susan).
Memorials may be made to the Hospice House of the Ozarks, Mountain Home, AR.
