Fred (Sonny) passed away April 13, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 77. He was born August 3, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Ferdinand and Frances Wontroba Baran. He married Gloria Wysocki on June 1, 1957, at Chicago, Illinois and worked as a dispatcher for John Morrell and Monarch Prov. Fred lived in Mountain Home since 1991, moving from McHenry, Illinois. He was a member of the Christ Community Church and enjoyed vegetable gardening.
Fred is survived by his wife, Gloria Baran of Mountain Home, AR and three sons, Keith (Lorie) Baran of Gallatin, TN, Kevin (Ruth) Baran of Mountain Home, AR and Mark (Ruth) of Woodstock, IL; six grandchildren, Allie, Travis, Haley, Jack, Jason and Kaila; brother, Richard (Barbara) Baran of Chicago, IL and sister, Sharon (Cindy) Baran of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Michael and Alan and two sisters, Arlene and Frances.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
