Eunice Carolyn Goding

Funeral Services for Eunice Goding, 71, of Flippin, AR will be 5PM Wednesday March 25, 2015, at Antioch Baptist Church with Reverend Danny Hutcherson officiating. Visitation will be 5-7PM Tuesday March 24, 2015 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR. Burial will be in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Eunice went home to see her Lord and Savior March 21, 2015, at Mountain Home, AR.

Eunice was born November 23, 1943, at Chicago, IL to Donald John and Elaine Lucile Schmidt Oswald. She moved to Orlando, Florida with her family when she was 14 where she met her first husband, Walter Goding and they had their two daughters. They moved to Flippin, AR in March 1973, where they opened WE Auto Supply. Eunice went to work for Ranger Boats as a seamstress after Walter passed away in 1987, and continued to work at Ranger until her diagnosis of lung cancer in 2014. Eunice loved gardening and sewing for family and friends.

Eunice is survived by daughters, Tammy Simmons and Jamie (Jeff) Morrow of Flippin, AR; sister, Diana (Bob) Willis of Flippin, AR; five grandchildren, Kaci (Nathan) Rogers, Andy Ross, Coty (Gerrie) Morrow, Shylah and Mariah Simmons; six great-grandchildren; three nephews; several cousins and feline friend, Esmerelda. Her parents and two husbands, James Walter Goding and George Tom Cooksey preceded her in death.
