A Celebration of Life for Elaine A. Matejka of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, April 25, 2015 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR with Reverend Dr. Fred Taylor officiating.

She passed away March 26, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 76.

Elaine was born May 19, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of George and Winifred Packwood Dickman. She was married to the love of her life, Donald Matejka who passed away in 2012, for over 53 years and was a homemaker and the wife of a fire fighter. Elaine lived in Bull Shoals since 1997, moving from Oaklawn, Il . She was a member of the Hoevel-Barnett Post #1341 Ladies Auxiliary and the Retired Fisherman's Club. She enjoyed playing Bingo and working at the Bull Shoals Food Pantry.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Leo) Warda of Turlock, CA; son, Brett (Marcia) Matejka of Oaklawn, IL; sisters, Lynn (Bob) Harrison of FL and Terri (Ken) Davidson of CA; brother, Jeff Peterson of IL; four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Memorials may be made to the Bull Shoals Food Pantry or the Hoevel-Barnett Post #1341 Ladies Auxiliary.
