Edward "Tip" Ware

A Funeral Service for Edward "Tip" Ware of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 25, 2015, at First United Methodist Church, with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Tip passed away January 22, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 64. He was born June 29, 1950, in Natchez, Mississippi, the son of James and Edythe Painter Ware. He married Terre Green on August 17, 1974 at Parkin, Arkansas and moved to Mountain Home in January of 1984. Tip was a pharmacist, employed by Cardinal Health, having worked at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home and Ozark Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri where he retired in 2012. Tip was an inventor and founder of Tips Seasoning Company. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman who recently, with wife, Terre, fulfilled a life-long dream of taking an African Safari. One of his greatest pleasures was coaching Little League Baseball, T-ball through Babe Ruth.

Edward "Tip" is survived by his wife of 40 years, Terre Ware of Mountain Home, AR; son, Pittman (Brooke Augusta) Ware of Little Rock, AR; sister, Linda Ware of Tempe, AZ and many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Nicholas Green Ware.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas with Hayden Argo, Kris Steelman, Mike Cameron, Pat Flippo, Thomas Goates and Kelly Shay as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund or Music Department or Hospice of the Ozarks.
