Edda passed away April 6, 2017, in Bull Shoals, Arkansas at the age of 74. She was born July 22, 1942, in Prague, Czechoslovakia. the daughter of Adolf and Helga Bruck Fritsche. She married Robert Novotny and worked as Regulatory Auditor for the US Customs and Border Protections. Edda lived in the Twin Lakes area since moving from New York City after surviving the World Trade Center Attack. She loved her plants, cooking and her animals.
Edda is survived by her husband, Robert Novotny of Bull Shoals, AR; sister in life, Susan (Ray) Covington of Mountain Home, AR; and her loyal companion dog, Tessa.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to the Animal Shelter of Your Choice or the Salvation Army.
