A Celebration of Life for Douglas David Grooms of Flippin, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home, with Reverend Gary Wise officiating.
Douglas passed away March 23, 2018, in Flippin, Arkansas at the age of 58. He was born March 9, 1960, in Illinois, the son of Donald and Annabeth Robins Grooms. Douglas lived in Flippin since moving from Illinois. He was a jack of all trades, construction worker, and entrepreneur.
Douglas is survived by his three sons, Tyler Grooms of Flippin, AR, Nicholas Grooms of Kansas, and Kaleb Grooms of Kansas; long-time friend, Kem Tyler of Flippin, AR; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents. His sister, Constance "Connie" Laree Floyd passed away within minutes of his death on Friday evening.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
