Dona Rae Dudgeon

June 2, 1933 — September 23, 2015

Dona Rae Dudgeon, 82, of Clinton, Arkansas, went home Wednesday, September 23, 2015. She was born June 2, 1933, in Aurora, Illinois to Harm and Edna Brauer. Dona kept very busy spending time with her family, traveling, and creating beautiful gifts with her hands. Dona was known for her canvas paintings. She was an accomplished artist. Dona loved to sew, knit, quilt, and create candy bouquets. Dona helped others with her caring spirit. She went on two missionary trips to Brazil, was involved at the Christian Clinic in Mountain Home where she was known as "Sarge", was active with the Peitz Cancer House, and a member of Chatting Needles. In Clinton she was a member of a group that raised money for the Angel Tree each year. Dona was involved with her church, serving on committees, as a greeter, and in Sunday School Class.

Dona is survived by a daughter, Debra (Dick) Smith of Clinton, Arkansas and a son, Jim (Sujin) Dudgeon of Niceville, Florida; four step-children, Dan, Judy, June and Mike; seven grandchildren, Toni, Ray, Martina, Mat, Katrina, Joe, and Josh; seven great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jaclyn, Mollie, Maggie, Jacob, Kiera, and Masey; and sister-in-law, Judy Brauer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Dudgeon; brother, Jim Brauer and parents, Harm and Edna Brauer.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church. A Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Clinton, Arkansas, with Reverend Jim Edwards officiating.

Burial will be 4:00 pm, Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas with Pastor Bill Hughes officiating. Pallbearers will be Ray Dudgeon, Mat Timmons, Ethan Hamby, Mike Dudgeon, and Mike Crowell.

Memorials may be made to Peitz Cancer House or the Mountain Home Christian Clinic.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
