Bonnie Faye Stehl

A Funeral Service for Bonnie Faye Stehl of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be 5PM September 23, 2016 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, Arkansas with Heather Marsalis as Celebrant. Visitation will be from 4PM until time of service.

Bonnie passed away September 20, 2016, in Bull Shoals, Arkansas at the age of 76. She was born September 2, 1940, the daughter of Ross and Lucille Newborn Reed. She married Roger Stehl on October 1, 1960, at Spring Valley, Illinois. Bonnie graduated as a Registered Nurse from Copley Memorial Hospital in 1961. She completed her undergraduate work at College of DuPage in Wheaton, Illinois. Bonnie lived in Bull Shoals since 2006, moving from Bradenton, Florida. She was a member of the National Nurses Association. Bonnie was an avid reader of fiction and history. She loved caring for her family and her home.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Roger Stehl, Sr. of Bull Shoals, AR; son, Roger (Rose) Stehl, Jr. of Lakeview, AR; daughter, Beth (Thomas) Schoonenberg of Naperville, IL; five grandchildren, Jack van Schoonenberg and Tara Schoonenberg of IL, Jessica (Zack) Nolte, Ryan Stehl, and Brandon Wilson of WI and two sisters, Mary (Elmer) Waldschimdt of IL and Gladys Welch (Floyd) Amboy of IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
