A Visitation for Billy Joe Pace of West Plains, Missouri, will be Thursday, January 12, 2017, from 4:00 until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, Mountain Home, Arkansas. A Visitation with Military Honors will be 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, Monday, January 16, 2017, at Shrader Funeral Home, in Ballwin, Missouri. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Navy Honor Guard.

Billy passed away January 8, 2017, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 78. He was born October 12, 1938, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Onice and Delia Mimick Pace. He married Lenora Hofmeister on December 2, 1972, at St. Louis, Missouri and was the National Sales Manager for Champion Boats. Billy lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1980, moving from St. Louis, Missouri. He moved to West Plains, Missouri after he retired in 1991. Billy was a U.S. Navy veteran and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Billy is survived by his son, Lonnie (Kay) Pace of Lake of the Ozarks, MO; stepson, Rick (Diana) Camden of St. Louis, MO two stepdaughters, Mary Morgan of Seward, AK and Cathy (Tim) Maynard of Mountain Home, AR; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Gene and Llyle Pace and sister, Deann Holzum.

Memorials may be made to any veterans organization of choice.
