Alvin passed away October 17, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 70. He was born October 6, 1946, in Norwich, Connecticut, the son of Alvin and Lillian Moreland. Alvin worked as a Pipeline Inspector before moving to Yellville in 1981. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Alvin was very interested in politics and the rights and freedoms we enjoy in America.
Alvin is survived by his wife, Phyllis Moreland of Yellville, AR; two sons, Alvin (Renae) Morland, Jr. of Calico Rock, AR and Danny Moreland of CT; and two daughters, Irene Moreland of Yellville, AR and Cindy Milligan of Yellville, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
