Dedication of the Veterans Statue was held on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. The dedication program featured an address by Commander Scott Burleson, U.S. Navy, patriotic music provided by the Mountain Home High School band, a rifle salute and recognition of area Veterans Organizations. The dedication event honored all area veterans as well as provided special recognition to Mrs. Gretchen S. Pederson who commissioned the Veterans Statue. Read more about the dedication event.
