On behalf of Mid-America Transplant Services, I am writing to thak you and acknowledge your role in the organ donation of Alan Edwards who died on May 20, 2010.  He heart was gifted to a 60 year old woman from Missouri, the lungs to a 59-year old may from Missouri, his liver to a 57 year old man from Missouri the kidney was gifted to a 62-year old may from Illinois and the other kidney went to a 29 year old woman form Missoui.  At Mid-America Transplant Services, our foremost concern is for the grieving family.  By providing the family with the opportunity to donate, they can take some small measure of comfort that their loved one left this world a better place.  The family can look back on these transplant recipients and know that one of their final memories will be of life shared.  Your continued support is valued.  If I can ever be of assistanct to you, please let me know.

Dear Mr. Kirby,
This is a letter of compliment for Heather Marsalis.  Earlier this month, my mother-in-law, Patricia Plahm passed away.  Mrs. Plahm's funeral arrangements were handled by Kirby & Family at the Bull Shoals facility.  Ms. Heather Marsalis handled all the arrangements.  I found her to be very competent at her job, kind, caring, warm, and friendly with not only the deceased's family, but also with the mourners who came to the wake and funeral Mass at Saint Peters.  I would like to recall to you all the nice things she did but they are too numerous.
Ms. Marsalis is definitely a credit to your business.  I have been an attorney for over thirty years.  As such, I have had dealings with people in white collar jobs, manufacturing and service industries.  Ms. Marsalis' service to all those involved in the passing of Mrs. Plahm is unparaleled.  Sincerely, John E. Albert.

Dear Heather,
We are grateful for the attention and care you showed us as we planned for my Mom's wake and funeral, as we greeted their friends and colleagues at the visitation and as we celebrated her life at her funeral mass.  Your actions and those of your colleagues spoke volumes about your regard for the deceased and their loved ones and your profession.  All meant so much and provided great comfort.
We are so happy to have the DVD, composite photo and prayer and remembrance cards.  What wonderful keepsakes!
Thank you again for all that you did.  May God bless you always!
Sincerely, Pat, Jerry & Tim Kellen, Peg & John Albert, Bernadette Fitzgerald

Dear Heather, I'm finally at the point where I can sit down and write to all the people who've been so loving and generous during these past weeks.  With all you give, I know that love will come back to you in uncountable ways, and with perfect timing.  I am inexpressibly grateful for all the blessings this difficult time has brought, and in particular for the blessing of your gorgeous spirit.  I will always love you, Nancy

Dear Heather, Thank you so much for calling upon me to play the bagpipes at the Memorial Service for Mr. Richter last Saturday morning, I hope that you and the Family were satisfied with my services.  The memorial service was very well organized and professional; obviously as a result of your attention to detail.  Hopefully, when my time comes, people will have remembrance of me half as much as the people of Bull Shoals did of Mr. Richter.  I like to ask if there is anything more that I can do to improve the service I provide, if you have any suggestions, please let me know and I hope that Kirby Funeral Service will call upon me again if there is a need.  Sincerely, Ken Bristow

I know that you did not know Judith, or me for that matter, personally, but that a group of people from all areas of commerce and industry would get together and do such a wonderful thing is one of the reasons I like the Mountain Home area. People care about people and help in any way they can whenever any type of catastrophe occurs. I just wanted to let you know how very much I appreciated receiving this volume.

Dear Bill, Ever since Dad and I walked into our office in 2003, you have "been there" for our family. Your kindness, concern and help has meant so much to the family. You helped us through many emotional decisions - especially for dad. It seemed almost impossible that dad passed away first, followed by Aunt Mable a little over a year later - and now my mom. Knowing final resting plans were in the hands of Kirby & Family gave me great comfort and helped me through the sadness of parting with three people who I loved more than words can ever say. Thank you Bill.
